Building Decarbonization Community Survey

»What would it take to convert RI’s buildings over to clean energy?

»What’s holding people back from making the switch?

»
How can our institutions help?

These are the questions being asked by a research team funded by Brown University’s Equitable Climate Initiative. Their goal: price the just transition for Rhode Island’s buildings, so our state can create fair, equitable public policy that meets our decarbonization goals and meets the moment of accelerating climate crisis.

They’ve asked Rebuild Woonsocket Community Movement to be part of this work, to make sure that the community’s hopes, concerns, and needs are centered in this ambitious project.

We’re asking you to be a part of it, too.

Building Decarbonization Community Survey

This survey takes only a few minutes, and you’re helping us create a community-centered plan for building decarbonization in Rhode Island. A few dozen of the folks who fill out this survey will be contacted for a 1-on-1, compensated interview opportunity with our team to delve deeper into their opinions and experiences.

Note: “decarbonization upgrades” means switching out appliances heating systems, etc. with ones that produce less carbon dioxide.
